It has been found that many older adults begin to feel isolated as they age and their ability to leave their home is reduced. For this reason, the CURE Home design isn’t simply focused on the physical needs of the resident, but also on their mental and emotional health needs. Thus, the CURE Home is purposely designed to establish a small neighborhood which allows for daily social interactions that enable friendships and social activities to develop naturally rather.
